Did you know you are a member of the BWBTA?

The BWBTA is a separate but complimentary entity to the BWB Tennis Center.  It was formed in 1988 to promote social fellowship and good sportsmanship.  All members of the BWB Tennis Center are automatically and without additional cost, members of BWBTA.  Whereas the Tennis Center promotes USTA Tournaments, socials and other events that would be associated with any top quality Tennis Center, the BWBTA adds its own events to expand the programmed activities of the Center.

The events scheduled by the BWBTA are arranged by a volunteer group of members who compose the BWBTA Board.  The board consists of a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and members at large. Your current president is Bob Andruss.  Your Board needs your ideas.  You can attend any Board meeting as a member at large to voice your thoughts.  Check with Bob on the next scheduled Board meeting date.

Historically, the BWBTA has hosted five events each year:  A Wimbledon Tournament, A Club Championship and three purely social fun days.  A nominal fee is charged to defray the cost of balls, food, drinks and any awards.  The 2007 schedule is as follows:

           1.  March 2   --     Friday Evening Social  

           2.  May 5      --     Saturday Social.

           3.  June 23    --     Wimbledon Tournament

           4.  October 13/14   --    Club Championship

           5.  November 10     --    Turkey Shoot Social (Election of Board)

The more you support the BWBTA the better it will be.  Please sign up for the May 5^th event and consider volunteering with your ideas or physical help. Help us make the BWBTA a great tennis organization.
