Welcome new member

Bluewater Bay Tennis Center would like to welcome Kim Mathers to the BBTC family.  Please welcome her when you meet her on the courts. 

New Pro

Jon Prenelle, our new Head Tennis Professional at Bluewater Bay will join us for one week, from March 7th through the 13th.  He will then return to the Washington area to pack and move to our area permanently.  Jon will be available for lessons on a full-time basis beginning the week of March 22.  We do have his appointment book at the front desk now.  If you want to reserve a time with Jon, we would recommend doing so now to get the best time slot.  Jon will fill his time very quickly, so don't miss out!!!

As we are sure all have heard, after a successful five year tenure, Jay, Emily and the boys are returning to the Memphis area.  Jay has helped to take the instructional programming at Bluewater Bay to new levels.  Please join us in wishing Jay well on his future ventures.  The Tennis Center is hosting a going away night at the Tennis Center on Friday, March 12th from 6 - 8 pm.  This will be a Pot Luck night.  Please sign-up at the Tennis Center.

Junior Tournament

Bluewater Bay Tennis Center will host the SouthCoast Allergy Super Series on March 13 - 15.  Please sign-up online at http://tennislink.usta.com/Tournaments/TournamentHome/Tournament.aspx?T=87470 .

Junior Tournament Travel 

The Bluewater Bay Tennis Center is now offering travel services to junior tournaments.  For local tournaments with no overnight stay, full High Performance students receive free travel to the tournaments, part-time High Performance and regular Junior Development students are charged $25 per tournament, and players not in the Junior Development program are charged $50 per tournament.  For travel tournaments that require at least one night stay, High Performance students are not charged, Part-time HP and regular JD students are charged $25 per day, and players not in the JD are charged $50 per day.  These fees do not include entry fees into the tournament, nor do they include hotel and food costs.  The fees listed are for transportation and coaching fees only.
