Welcome New Members

We welcome our new Junior Members Drew Schuch, Zack South and David Williams, as well as our new addition to the adult players: Eric Stern.

We hope you will find many great matches, make friends and have good times at our wonderful Tennis Facility.  We’ll see you at our Member Socials and Tournaments.

Bluewater Bay Adult Designated

The 2005 Bluewater Bay Adult Designated tournament was held February 26th  and 27th.  Well, actually it was only played on the 26th, and rained out on the 27th.  Despite the lousy weather on the Sunday, everyone who played had a great time and enjoyed some awesome tennis and first class hospitality.  This could not have been accomplished without the generous support from our sponsors.  I would like to thank Bluewater Orthopedics, Vanguard Bank, Greg Goodwin Construction for their support.  Also, Subway, Merlin’s and Lewis Bear Company made sure the player were well fed and not thirsty.  Mark your calendars for the last weekend of February and find out first hand why this tournament is quickly becoming the most popular event in the area.

Papa John’s Junior Masters

Bluewater Bay Tennis Center will host the Papa John’s Junior Masters tournament March 12th and 13th.  This is an excellent opportunity for the juniors to get some good matches in to hone their games for the school tennis season.

Junior League Adult NTRP tournament

The local Junior League has selected the weekend of March 19th and 20th as the dates for their charity tournament.  This event is new to Bluewater Bay; but has been in the area for several years.  We are pleased to welcome them to our great facilities and look forward to great support from our members.

Easter Sale

The annual Easter Sale will take place Mar 19-27.  Men’s and Ladies Tennis Apparel will be discounted 20% - 50% and Rackets and Shoes 20%. This Sale is open to all members and non-members.

Junior Development

The next session of junior development is scheduled for March 14th through May 13th, with a week break for spring break the week of March 28th to April 1st.  Check with Doug to get the group times for your child’s clinics.
