Congratulations 8.0 Mixed Doubles Team
The 8.0 Mixed Doubles Team led by Jerry Armstrong won the local play-offs by defeating the Pensacola champions from the Shoreline Tennis Center in Gulf Breeze. This Bluewater Bay Team will travel to Daytona Oct 15-17 to compete in the Sectional (State) Championships. The players on this team are: Jerry Armstrong, Felix Beukenkamp, Judy Coelho, Cathy Casey, Brian George, Cheryl Goad, Leslie Hadley, Coline McNew, Jim and Andrea Moneymaker, Joe Moran and Diana Senechal.

Junior Ladder
This month’s ladder leader is T. J. Van Dam. T. J. wins a ˝ hour private lesson with Doug for his efforts; but more importantly, is becoming an even stronger player due to his extra work.
Club Championship
The Bluewater Bay Club championships will be held October 8th and 9th. Sign-up now and compete to see if you are the best in your division. There is a division for everyone! Juniors can even compete this year in the open divisions.
Cayo Grande Future Juniors
The annual Cayo Grande junior tournament will be held November 6th through the 8th. Entry deadline is November 3rd. Don’t miss your last opportunity to get points for the Emerald Coast Junior Grand Prix. Entry forms will be available in the clubhouse by the second week of October.
Ivan the Terrible
Bluewater Bay Tennis Center would like to send a huge “THANK YOU” to the court maintenance staff and especially to Matt Higgins, TJ VanDam, CJ Jarvis, Mark Penner, and Mark Higgins for all their help to prepare for and recover from hurricane Ivan.
